DRY ICE CLEANING NORTHERN IRELAND

Powerful Cleaning. No Water. No Abrasive Media.

Industrial dry ice blasting for production machinery, manufacturing equipment and specialist cleaning applications throughout Northern Ireland.

Remove grease, carbon, oils, production residues and difficult contamination without introducing water, chemicals or conventional blasting media.

WATER-FREE

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO INDUSTRIAL CLEANING

Clean the contamination – not the equipment.

Dry ice blasting uses compressed air to accelerate solid CO₂ particles towards the contaminated surface.

The combination of impact and rapid temperature change helps break the bond between the contamination and the underlying surface.

The dry ice then converts directly from solid to gas.

Unlike conventional abrasive blasting, there is no spent blasting media left behind – only the contamination removed from the equipment.

WHAT CAN DRY ICE BLASTING REMOVE?

Grease & Oil

Built-up grease, lubricants and oily production contamination.

Carbon Deposits

Carbonised and baked-on deposits from suitable production equipment.

Food Residues

Production residues and deposits from suitable food-processing equipment.

Adhesives & Labels

Certain adhesives, labels and production residues.

Dust & Process Contamination

Accumulated production dust and contamination around machinery and equipment.

Mould & Tooling Residues

Cleaning of suitable moulds, tooling, dies and manufacturing components.

BUILT FOR PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENTS

Industrial cleaning without introducing water or abrasive blasting media.

Dry ice blasting can provide an effective option for cleaning equipment in-place and, depending on the application, may reduce the need for extensive dismantling.

Ideal applications include:

No Water

Dry ice blasting does not rely on pressure washing, rinse water or liquid cleaning solutions. Ideal where introducing wet cleaning into the production environment is undesirable.

No Abrasive Media

Unlike grit, sand or soda blasting, dry ice disappears after impact rather than leaving blasting media across the work area.

Non-Abrasive Process

Dry ice cleaning is generally non-abrasive, making it suitable for many surfaces where aggressive mechanical cleaning would be inappropriate.

Reduced Secondary Waste

The dry ice sublimates during the cleaning process. The waste requiring removal is primarily the contamination taken from the equipment rather than a mixture of contamination and spent blasting media.
